Korie has worked in higher education for over 12 years. She has a Master’s degree in organizational leadership from Southwestern College and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communications with an emphasis in Convergent News from Southwestern College. She also obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from Muma College of Business.

Korie spent five years in admissions at her alma mater prior to relocating to Texas. At Southwestern she served as an Admissions counselor, Community Engagement Specialist, and Associate Director of Admissions. Relocating to Texas in 2017, Korie accepted the position as the Associate Director of Admissions at Texas Woman’s University for their Denton, Dallas, and Houston campuses. During her career, she has achieved record breaking enrollment in both the private and public sub sectors for undergraduate and graduate enrollment. Korie prides herself on being a servant leader who communicates high standards and expectations. She is goal oriented and has data driven expertise. She exhibits exceptional breadth of community relations while identifying, developing, and maintaining effective working relationships. Her background includes Enrollment Management, Admissions Operations, Community Engagement, Service Learning, and Academic Affairs. Currently, Korie serves as the Assistant Director of Admissions, Outreach, & Community Engagement at the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
